Wednesday 5 is your staff development. Its mission is twofold:
- staff development, especially in the domain of learning and teaching,
- encouragement of the research culture in SoC
Wednesday 5 is a worker's cooperative - it needs your participation and contributions.

A series of bi-weekly research seminars in the School of Computing for disseminating research results and discussing research practices within the School.
UoP Computing Seminar
A series of seminars for all researchers in the computing areas across the University - SoC, ECE & CCI (and others!)

Academic Development Events - Run throughout the year in a range of locations by DCQE
Psychology Research Seminars - Wednesdays 1-2pm in King Henry Building, Room 3.09
Café Scientifique - Roughly monthly from 8-10pm on a Tuesday in Le Cafe Parisien (opposite Mercantile House)
CERI Hot Topic (Business) Seminars - Monthly, Richmond Building, Portland Street
